John Howard, L.Ac., has trained extensively in emergency and battlefield medicine, studying acupuncture, and training with Dr. Richard Niemtzow, the founder of Battlefield Acupuncture. John has written books on the subject of Battlefield Acupuncture and teaches courses nationally on this subject since 2007.
Dr. Joan Ordman, Western medical internist, Emergency Room trained, and a member of Acute Pain Service, Department of Anesthesiology, has treated servicemen and women 24-48 hours off the battlefield suffering from traumatic IED injuries. She has done groundbreaking work using Battlefield Acupuncture and other cutting edge techniques to control acute and chronic pain, phantom pain, insomnia, and PTSD. Dr. Ordman has been teaching with John Howard nationally since 2012.
