Become a Member

The AAC offers four different types of membership: Professional, Associate, Student & Friend.

Professional Membership: For professional acupuncturists who are Licensed with the Department of Regulatory Agencies Acupuncture Office in the State of Colorado. While we strongly encourage members to maintain their NCCAOM status, only first year acupuncturists are required to have it.

Associate Membership: For those who support the activities of this association and want to stay informed of activity.

Student Membership: Members must be currently enrolled in a recognized, professional entry-level training program.

Level: Professional

1st/2nd Year Practitioner – $100/year
3+ Years $150.00/year

Membership Includes:

  • All Associate Membership benefits
  • A listing in our online referral database
  • All discounts and insurance benefits
  • Voting privileges within the organization
  • Membership on our professional networking email list for discussion, news and advice
  • Phone referrals to potential patients

Mandatory Fields for this level of membership include CO License Number & NCCAOM number.

Level: Associate – $35/year

Membership includes:

  • A quarterly newsletter that brings you the news of the profession
  • Membership on our email announcement list
  • Eligibility for credit union membership at Elevations Credit Union

Level: Student – FREE

Membership Includes:

  • All Associate Membership benefits
  • All discounts and insurance benefits
  • Student elected representation on the board of directors
  • Membership on our professional networking email list for discussion, news and advice
  • Membership on our students-only networking email list

To qualify for this level of membership you must include the name of the school in which you are enrolled.

Level:  Friend

Please note: The AAC has transitioned from a July 1st – June 30th membership cycle to membership that will be valid for one year from the date of payment.
