Denver's Way Home yearly event, Project Homeless Connect, is looking for vollunteers. This event helps connect the under-served of Denver and surrounding areas with medical care, services for specific needs, and holistic treatments among other things. It is fun and the day goes quickly due to the high volume of people that are seen. The past 4 years, about 100 people receive acupuncture throughout the day.
Volunteers are needed to split up the day into 2 shifts, 9 a.m.-noon and noon-3 p.m. There is CEU credit available through the NCCAOM for community service and volunteer hours. This year's event is on Tuesday, September 19th, at the Denver convention center.
