Cost: $500 for licensed practitioners, $420 for students with a 10% AAC Discount for licensed practitioners.  This includes needles, syringes and injectables for practice during class, handouts, etc., as well as a “starter kit” with basics to perform “biopuncture.”

Provider: Michael Young, L.Ac., MSTCM, graduated in 1990 from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  He studied injection therapy with Heel sponsored teachers in the 1990s and has taught injection therapy in Colorado for the last 15 years.  Sheila Liewald, L.Ac., will be assisting to maximize hands on training.   For more info see my website younghealthcare.com

PDA’s:  This class has been approved for 15 PDAs (NCCAOM) for any acupuncturist who is licensed to practice in a state where injection therapy is within it’s scope. 

Brief Description: This is an introduction to injection therapy.  It covers injections for Pain, Cosmetics, and Immune Modulation.  In addition the class will cover  how to use Homeopathics, Saline, Sarapin, Procaine and other “caine” drugs, and B12 as well as other injectables.  The class is limited to 6 participants and the didactic to “hands on” is about 50/50. A TA will be available for the “hands on” portion.
