Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine | Herbalist | Classical Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Healing, for me, has always been a conversation between the body and something deeper—an ancient rhythm, a quiet remembering. That conversation began early in my life, in my grandmother’s medicinal herb garden, where I learned to listen to the quiet language of plants and presence and to the way healing moves through soil, stories, and hands. Her herbal wisdom was my first doorway into the sacred, lifelong practice of medicine. There among the roots and leaves, I began to understand that medicine is everywhere- and that healing often begins in stillness.
Earning both a Doctorate and a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health & Science, my work bridges the precision of clinical training with the quiet wisdom of intuition and spirit. The deeper lineage I walk is that of Classical Chinese Medicine as taught through the transmissions of Ann Cecil-Sterman and the profound teachings of Jeffrey Yuen—an 88th-generation Daoist priest of the Jade Purity School. This lineage, an ancient, oral tradition, shows us that illness is not merely physical, but mental and spiritual. An invitation to return to ourselves, to our purpose, and to the deep harmony that underlies all life.
My clinical experience spans many worlds: I’ve treated in hospitals and hospice rooms, homeless clinics, rural outposts, neurological rehabilitation centers, and the two community-acupuncture clinics I established in Denver. These varied spaces have taught me that true healing is never one-size-fits-all, it requires listening deeply, adapting, and honoring the uniqueness of every body and each story.
Plants continue to be some of my greatest teachers. I blend Classical Chinese Medicine with sacred plant work, energy medicine, and ritual. My formulas are often crafted from wildcrafted or homegrown herbs, each chosen not just for their properties, but for their spirit. I’ve studied Western herbalism and sacred plant medicine under Joan Zinn since 2015, and continue to learn through direct relationship with the living world.
A lifelong teacher, I have led educational workshops since 2003 and, more recently, women’s and couples retreats—spaces where healing unfolds through connection, shared story, and the deepening of wisdom that can only come with retreat.
In every session, my intention is the same: to help you return to your own inner knowing, to reconnect with the universal current of vitality that moves through all life.
