Biography
Christopher has studied Tai Chi and Qi Gong since 1996. His interest in acupuncture evolved from a deep connection to Taoist philosophy that he develop at a young age when attending Rutgers University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990.
His Sifu, Bob Cook, an accomplished Kung Fu martial artist who studied under several renowned masters since the late 1960's, introduced him to Chinese Medicine and acupuncture theory. In 2001 Chris began his formal studies at the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville, Colorado.
Upon graduation in 2005, he began a private practice in his home region- the Roaring Fork Valley of western Colorado, which contains the Cities of Glenwood Springs and Aspen, and the Towns of Basalt and Carbondale. At some point over the past 11+ years he has practiced in each of these locales. He currently has a full-time practice in Glenwood Springs.
Christopher continues to expand his practice and his knowledge of Acupuncture, as well as Eastern and Western holistic medicine.
