Biography
Katie earned her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University (Santa Cruz, CA) in 2011 and became a CA board-certified primary care physician there practicing acupuncture and oriental medicine. As she also passed the NCCAOM national acupuncture exams, Katie moved to Arvada, Colorado in 2012 and became licensed in acupuncture there. Katie has an excellent Western Medicine background, as previously for many years she worked in clinical and basic medical research labs at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and University of Connecticut School of Medicine in human genetics, immunology and rheumatology divisions. She is also a licensed massage therapist with experience in Sports Medicine, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reconnective Healing, Reiki and Lymphatic Drainage.
